AI-Assisted Data Analysis for Life Science Researchers

Stop waiting for a bioinformatician. Analyze your own data, today

Boris Gorelik, Ph.D.  ·  Data science consultant and educator  ·  boris@gorelik.net

Target audience: Researchers and graduate students in the life sciences  ·  No programming background required

Delivery formats

Lecture 1 hour  ·  Zoom or in person
₪5,000
Up to 100 participants
  • Discover that exploring complex data is within reach, no programming background needed
  • See how a conversation with AI turns a messy dataset into clear insights
  • What AI-assisted analysis is, and why it changes what a researcher without programming experience can do
  • Demo: starting with a raw research dataset and iteratively uncovering patterns through dialogue with an AI
  • Demo: generating a one-off analysis to test a hypothesis, refining the question based on the result, and repeating
  • Demo: from vague hunch to concrete finding, a live walkthrough of AI-driven data exploration
  • Instructor-led demos only, no hands-on participation
Workshop 3 hours  ·  Zoom or in person
₪11,000
Up to 20 participants
  • Learn a method for exploring any dataset through conversation with AI
  • Leave knowing how to ask better questions about your data
  • AI as a researcher's superpower: describe what you want to check, get an instant analysis that answers the question
  • The iterative loop: look at data, form a question, get results, interpret, ask a sharper question
  • Your data or mine.
  • Generating one-off visualizations, summaries, and statistical tests on the fly
  • By the end: a methodology you can repeat tomorrow on a completely different dataset
Course 3 sessions × 3 hours
₪30,000
Up to 20 participants
  • Master the iterative analysis methodology, then package your findings into a polished tool
  • Become the researcher who can turn a question into a working analysis pipeline
  • Session 1: The iterative loop. AI-assisted analysis basics; learning to explore data by generating visualizations, summaries, and statistical tests driven by your questions
  • Session 2: Going deeper. Tackling more complex datasets, multi-step analyses, and combining multiple data sources; refining the methodology on harder problems
  • Session 3: From exploration to product. Building an interactive dashboard that captures your key findings; polishing the interface and presenting it as a research instrument
  • Participants leave with both a repeatable analysis methodology and a working dashboard built around their own research data

Prerequisites (workshop & course)

Setup and access instructions will be sent to participants in advance. No prior programming experience is required. No installation time is budgeted into the session itself.

This program is not about learning to program. It is about learning to discover. Researchers who complete it will be able to explore any dataset by having a conversation with an AI, getting the exact analysis they need, when they need it, without depending on a bioinformatician or a programmer.
